For more than 2 years, Maui Beach Condo was home to an elderly couple who lost their home in the tragic Lahaina fires. Now that they are settled into their rebuilt home, Pono Beach Condo is ready to welcome you to the beautiful West Side!
Since 2021, Maui Beach Condo has been inspired not only to the island's immense natural beauty, but the Spirit of Aloha that permeates the culture here.
Another important aspect of Hawaiian culture that we try to incorporate into every aspect of our lives is the concept of PONO.
What is Pono?
In Hawaiian culture, if a person is living pono, it means that they have struck the right balance in their relationships with other people, places, and things in their lives. It also means that they are living with a continuous conscious decision to do right by themselves, by others, and by the world in general. You're invited to find your pono by striking the right balance of relaxing and recharging in the natural beauty of the Maui while seeking adventure and exploring the rich culture of the Valley Isle.

"Pono Beach Condo is the perfect retreat! And we'll definitely be coming back. It has a fully outfitted kitchen for those of us who like to cook, and when we didn't feel like it, we were just a few mins drive from all the amazing restaurants, markets and shops. The complex is intimate and quiet, so you'll never be fighting for lounge chairs by the pool or for a spot on the beach. You have ocean and garden views from the kitchen and living room, and the lanai (probably our favorite feature) is framed by tropical plants and the perfect place to lounge, enjoy our morning coffee, read books and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The beach is 45 steps from the condo (I counted) and home to tortoises that you can marvel at daily and under the moonlight. The pool is lovely, but since the ocean is practically a private beach that's so easy to access, we snorkeled so much here that we didn't use it. The bathroom and bedroom are large, comfortable and recently renovated, and most importantly, the hosts did everything they could to make our vacation painless and memorable.

"Deb and Sharna's place is like nothing I've ever seen before. You aren't just BY the beach, you're ON it and often, it's just you and the sea turtles. While the outside is lovely, the inside is, too. The bed was so comfortable, I asked them what kind it was so I could buy one myself.
I wanted to save a little money by cooking some of my meals in - or outside on the charcoal grills - and the kitchen had everything I needed to do just that.
I met a ton of people who vacation at this complex every year, some having been staying there for 15 or 20 years. With its unique location, I can certainly see why and I, too, will be back again.

What a treat to stay here! I have never stayed so close to a beach before and have never been so up close and personal to sea turtles (keeping the legal limit of 10 feet away, of course.)
We loved the renovated kitchen and we were really comfortable with the bed and bath, too. Deb and Sharna left beach chairs and towels, a cooler, and everything we needed for a perfect day at the beach.
